Challenge your Spiritual Self to Grow;

 Gain peace within and feel good about who you are.

Have trouble finding that inner peace?

You need to balance your spiritual needs with the rest of your humanness.
Though some people deny it, most people recognize our spiritual nature.

This means different things to different people.  Most basically it means we have a spirit; there is something more than our physical existence.

Our bodies live because of some spiritual breath within us. We feel a deep need to search for meaning beyond the physical. We try to find purpose in life.

We strive to understand our place in the cosmos. We have a need to belong to something bigger, to connect with something higher than ourselves.

Some people say we have a “God-shaped hole” inside us. Most people recognize this spiritual nature as part of being created by a greater power, something, or someone who has the power to create. I

 once heard that there was a law of nature that stated that every characteristic within any item must have originated from something with the same characteristics.

Because we can think, create, and love, we must have come from a source that could also think, create, and love. Because we have a spiritual nature we must have come from a source with a spiritual nature.

Coming to terms with our spiritual nature and nurturing it is a life long process. But it is important that we begin the process.

 If we ignore our spiritual nature and neglect our need to come to peace with our creator and the cosmos we will not come to peace with ourselves.

Here I present one idea you may want to include in your program on wellness.

Spiritual growth challenge

Our spiritual nature is about having purpose and meaning in life. Try this; write down everything in your life that is truly important. If you lost everything else these are the things you would want to save. Sometimes people wait until too late to realize what's really important and they have hurt themselves and others and missed great opportunities. Now once you have these things written down, write down how can you communicate the importance of these things in your life, to others or to the world in general. This is purpose. Having something important to communicate to others, to live for or, if need be, to die for. It will keep everything in perspective.

I will be presenting new ideas regularly either my own or one I pick up here or there. Check back for new ideas often.
