Scoring

For questions 2,5,6,7,8,9,10,11,13,14, and 15 an A answer is worth four points, a B answer is three points , a C answer two points and a D answer one point.

For questions 1,3,4,12,and 16 (in other words, all the rest) give yourself one point for an A answer, two points for a B answer, three points for a C answer, and four points for a D answer. Add up your total.

If you scored :

60-64, you’re in great shape.

45-59; very good, but you can still benefit from some tune –ups in specific areas.

33-44: Like most of us, you’ve been spending much too much time on the couch. You need to get in the game. It’s time to start doing some stretches, get the brain aerobicized and make those sorry synapse start popping.

20-32: Very bad shape, In fact, I’m assuming you've just woken up after being in a coma for at least seven years. The good news is you’ve got nowhere to go but up.

In his book he gives instructions about what type of exercise to do based on your areas of weakness. These go in more depth than I can include here but you can see his book for details. It's worth a look.  You can also get more ideas on my Intellectual Growth page or my e-book and upcoming workbooks you can find on Resource and Services.

Great spirits have always encountered opposition from mediocre minds. The mediocre mind is incapable of understanding the man who refuses to bow blindly to conventional prejudices and chooses instead to express his opinions courageously and honestly.

Albert Einstein (1879 - 1955), quoted in New York Times, March 13, 1940
